Happy September everyone!
As our temperatures peak in the low 100's, sometimes it feels like your could cut the hot humid air with a knife. However things have to get done and you still need good healthy food! Keep cool for lunch and dinner with some great salads and other fresh ideas. For instance, check out these kick butt lettuce wraps we made.

It starts with some high quality romaine lettuce. I pulled apart the tender leaves and rinsed with cold water. Then a spoonful of filling, which is a blend of diced chicken, water chestnuts, and bamboo shoots spiced with ginger. We then topped with a blend of our different microgreens. Here we used Pea shoots, sunflower, and our new beet microgreeens. Then just a dash of peanut sauce! Delish!
